 Not for those with a high instep. Jan 31, 2009
I ordered this product after reading the reviews here and all over the internet. My size is not carried in any store near my home, so I ordered them without ever trying them on.
I have a high instep (the top part of the foot) and these shoes were very uncomfortable. I purchased a shoe stretcher (7.99 at Target) and shoe stretching solution (3.99 at Target) and attempted to stretch the shoes. It worked ok and I am determined to wear these shoes so now I spray them with a little solution and hope I can wear them long enough to stretch them. I have been doing this for about three weeks and they are getting better... my feet don't fall asleep as often.
The shoe construction is great and the arch support is amazing. Overall, it is a great shoe, just not for those with a high instep.

She wanted Dansko, these came up in the search. Picture was the same, sole appeared the same, but she tried them on and they weren't nearly as comfortable. Also, the staples that attach the upper to the sole were visible, so I don't think the picture associated with the item is of these actual shoes. I went somewhere else, bought Dansko, the wife is happy.

ordered these and recieved in about a week with free shipping. ordered the 39 and shoe was a little roomy but nothing an insert/insole couldn't take care of. thanks again amazon!

I was very pleased with how this transaction was handled. Upon receiving my item, I was at first thrown that my Dansko shoes came in another company's box and thought I'd been duped. However, there was a very nice letter enclosed explaining that the clogs are now being manufactured by another company that put me at ease.

I gave these as a gift to my wife, and she couldn't be happier. They were delivered expediently, and fit her great. Just know that these shoes are not from Dansko, but from their former partner company. Same shoes, but without the Dansko name.
